PURPOSE:To suppress the influence or the start of driving-out a sheet from an image formed on a photosensitive body without using a driving-out device having high precision by driving out the sheet before a document scanning mechanism starts scanning of a document. CONSTITUTION:A sheet driving-out roller 2 is revolved, and after the driven-out sheet 3 is detected by a sheet passing detection device 4, transfer of a document board glass is started. Therefore, the disturbance of image which is generated by the load torque variation on the start of driving-out of the sheet 3 can be eliminated from the region of a document 8 image formed on the surface of a photosensitive body 1. Therefore, the need of photosensitive body driving device having a large driving torque and of a driving-out device having a low load torque and high precision is avoided.
