PURPOSE:To eliminate the sticking of toner particles on a device constituent component and the staining of a photosensitive body with a toner particle lump by composing a developing bias closed circuit of an electrophotographic sensitive body in conveyance and a developing electrode at or nearby a feed roller couple and nearby a squeezing roll couple. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic latent image surface of the electrophotographic sensitive body 12 is conveyed in a liquid developer opposite to the developing electrode 2, and developed. In this case, there are a developing part slanting in one direction, a couple of insulating rollers 6 and 7 provided nearby the exit of the developing part, and a couple of feed rollers 4 and 5 provided nearby the entrance of the developing part, and the developing bias closed circuit is composed of the electrophotographic sensitive body in conveyance and the developing electrode 2 nearby the couple of squeezing rollers 6 and 7 and the couple of feed rollers 4 and 5. Consequently, the staining of the electrophotosensitive body 12 with a toner lump and the sticking and fixation of toner particles on constituent elements of a developing device are eliminated.
