PURPOSE:To form an image at a high speed and to obtain an image with high resolution by forming a latent image for color print on a photosensitive layer from a light-shielding visible image formed on a latent image carrier laminated on a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:An exposing device 40 form a latent image of prescribed image information on the transparent photoconductor layer 35 of photosensitive recording paper 31 formed by laminating a transparent conductor layer 34 as a latent image carrier and the transparent photoconductor layer 35 on the surface of photosensitive paper 33 with light weak enough not to make the photosensitive paper 33 sensitive and a developing device 41 forms the visible image 45. Then the latent image for color print is formed on the photosensitive paper 33 from the latent image 45 through the exposure lamp 49 of the exposing device 45 and an interference filter 51 corresponding to a prescribed color and the pressure roller 55 of a developing device 48 collapses microcapsules which do not set with light on the reverse surface of the photosensitive recording paper 31; and internal dyeing precursors and a color developer react with each other to visualize the latent image, thereby forming the image on the photosensitive paper 33.
