PURPOSE:To obtain a compact rotary transformer and a compact cylinder and to improve their performances by controlling the clearance between a fixed side rotary transformer and a rotation side rotary transformer fixed onto a disk fixed to a spindle and then fixing the spindle to its bearing unit. CONSTITUTION:A rotation side rotary transformer 13 is fixed to a disk 15 by adhesion in a state where the disk 15 is fitted and fixed to a spindle 14 supported rotatably by a bearing unit 16. A rotary transformer holder 17 is fixed to a fixed side rotary transformer 12 by adhesion. Then the holder 17 and the transformer 12 are fitted at the unit 17 and the clearance is controlled between the transformer 13 and the transformer 12. The holder 17 is fixed to the unit 16 by adhesion and the unit 16 is fixed to a lower cylinder 10 by adhesion. In such a constitution, a compact rotary transformer is obtained together with a compact cylinder with high performance.
