PURPOSE:To efficiently purify isocitric dehydrogenase (ICDH) at high recovery ratio in a short time, by subjecting the ICDH to ion exchange chromatography using a weak acidic cation exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:A solution containing isocitric dehydrogenase (ICDH) originated from an yeast, e.g. the genus Saccharomyces, Candida, etc., and requiring nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP) as a coenzyme is brought into contact with a weak acidic cation exchange resin having carboxylic acid groups, e.g., 'Amberlite(R)' IRC-50, 'Amberlite(R)' CG-50, 'Diaion(R)' WK10, WK11, WK20, etc., using a column, etc., to adsorb the above-mentioned enzyme, which is then eluted with a suitable eluent to isolate the aimed enzyme.
