PURPOSE:To obtain the title resin composition which can be easily melt-extruded and can be suitably used for the production of packaging materials, etc., by mixing an ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer resin of a specified composition and specified properties with a light-screening substance, a pigment, a dye, additives, etc. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene is copolymerized with ethyl acrylate to produce an ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer resin of an ethyl acrylate content >=7wt.% and a melt index >=3g/10min. 30-95wt.% this copolymer resin is mixed with the balance of a light-screening substance (e.g., carbon black or aluminum powder) and, optionally, a coloring pigment, a dye (e.g., titanium oxide) and additives (e.g., lubricant) to form a colored masterbatch resin composition. This resin composition is mixed with a main resin (e.g., polypropylene) and extruded to obtain a uniformly colored molding.
