PURPOSE:To eliminate the positional deflection of a sheet body by providing first and second transport belts for sandwiching and transporting the sheet body so that a movable roller capable of engaging the first transport belt is displaced to alter the transport path of first transport belt and reversely transport the sheet body. CONSTITUTION:A sheet body sandwiched and transported by belts 80, 84 is sandwiched between first and second transport belts 106, 132 through the first transport belt 106, a roller 102, a guide 103 and a return roller 120. The return roller 120 and a movable roller 114 are provided to sandwich the belt 106 through an arm member 124. When a sheet body sandwiched between the belts 106, 132 is reversed by 180 deg. and transported, the movable roller 114 is pivoted in the direction F1 and the belt 106 is pushed downward, while the guide 103 is also pushed down to alter the transport path of transport belt 106. Thus, the sheet body reversely transported is transported along the altered path without any deflection under the condition of being sandwiched between the belts 106, 132.
