PURPOSE:To contrive to save fuel consumption, by radiating the extreme infrared rays emitted from ceramic bodies to the fuel for an internal combustion engine, such as gasoline, gas oil, and heavy oil. CONSTITUTION:A gasoline or a gas oil is entered in a tank, in which ceramic blocks made by sintering the minute powder of 10 % of manganese, 60 % of the mixture of zirconium and aluminum oxide, and 30 % of cilica, for example, are put in, and stirred up for one minute. The ceramic blocks are columnar, of a form with a hole at the center, the outer diameter is about 15 mm, the diameter of the center hole is about 4 mm, and the length is about 30 mm, and, they radiate the extreme infra-red rays to the fuel.
