摘要

PURPOSE:To attain prevention of suction and improvement in anisotropy at a higher degree by imparting relatively fine ruggedness to a substrate first then imparting the finer ruggedness thereto by plural times of texturing. CONSTITUTION:A texturing tape 22 wound on a feed roll 21 is pressed via a guide roller 23 and a press roller 24 onto the substrate 11. The tape is further taken up on a take-up roll 25. The substrate 11 is rotationally driven by a revolving shaft 26 and the uniformly fine ruggedness is imparted to the surface of the substrate 11 by the rotating substrate 11 and the texturing tape 22 moving while maintaining the contact with the surface of the substrate 11. A rough tape is first used as said texturing tape 22, then a finer tape is used and the texturing of the substrate 11 is executed plural times. The suction is mainly prevented by the previous rough texturing and the magnetic anisotropy is mainly improved by the succeeding finer texturing in such a manner.
