PURPOSE:To attain the designation of a night transfer time with inexpensive transmission line charge without being aware of the night transfer time as a transmission time at the time of designation of transmission by providing a night transfer mode. CONSTITUTION:In case of data transmission, a cursor is moved by a keyboard KB5 while observing a menu picture displayed on a CRT7 to select 'communication' in the menu. Then communication information designation processing is executed and a designation time, that is, a time to start data transmission is inputted. In using the night transfer mode, '1' is set. When the night transfer mode is designated, the time of the night charge time zone set in advance in a system data area is read and written in a communication information area. The value set in the time area of the communication information area is referred to by communication procedure control processing executing data transmission.
