PURPOSE:To give flexibility while prevent pollution due to carbon black as well as deterioration with time by covering the back of the base cloth of a fabric in which a metal plated synthetic fiber group is used or of a metal plated fabric with a conductive synthetic resin, in a conveying belt for sheets of paper, and the like. CONSTITUTION:The back of the base cloth 1 of a fabric woven with synthetic fiber yarn which is plated with metal, e.g., nickel, etc. or of a metal plated fabric is covered with a synthetic resin in which a synthetic resin 2 having conductivity, e.g., a carbon black, etc. is mixed. By this structure, flexibility can be obtained without damaging or polluting an object being conveyed. Also, the conductivity of a belt can be maintained while preventing deterioration with time as well as deterioration due to fatigue.
