PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation by providing a writing stand along the upper face of which recording paper is moved and leading the recording paper from a transmission section to a reception section so as to connect and incorporate the transmission and reception running system thereby attaining small size and less cost. CONSTITUTION:Thermosensing recording paper is in contact with an idler 2 while its surface (thermosensing member coated face) is directed downward, and runs on a writing stand 3 while its rear face is directed upward, and passes between a read sensor 4 and a transmission roller 5 and between a thermal head 6 and a reception roller 7. Then a transmission original is hand-written on the rear side of the recording paper 1 on the writing stand 3, converted into a picture signal by the sensor 4, and the signal is sent. Then the recording paper 1 finished for the transmission is pooled for a proper length between the sensor 4 and the head 6. In case of the reception, the recording paper 1 poled in this way is printed sequentially by the head 6, and if the pooled length is longer than a prescribed length, the reception roller 7 is driven to control the length to be less than a prescribed length. The recording paper 1 is used in common as the transmission original in this way, then the equipment is made small in its size and inexpensive in its cost and the operation is facilitated.
