PURPOSE:To automatically restart the signal transmission/reception between all equipments without awaiting the repair if a fault takes place on the way of a bus transmission path by generating a signal representing the connection state of bus connection from an adaptor at each bus connection and setting the connection state of a data bus in response to a control signal. CONSTITUTION:The adaptors 2-4 have respectively a gate 6 switching the transmission direction at each connection with a data bus DB and are provided with a control circuit 7 controlling the on/off of a gate 6 or the transmission direction on the way of the control bus CB. Each control circuit 7 of the adaptors 2-4 use the data bus DB to connect each equipment as in a conventional system without the absence of any fault in the bus transmission path of the loop shape and connects each device the data bus DB at the outside of the fault if a fault takes place.
