PURPOSE:To enable the rapid generation of configurational graphic data on a shape equivalent to the shape of an object to be measured, by applying a sweep to basic lines with parallel transfer or rotation to generate the shape of a measured surface and by combining a plurality of configurations of the measured surface to construct a cubic figure. CONSTITUTION:A measuring procedure instructing means 10 is constructed of an input unit 11 and a three-dimensional measurement backing apparatus 21, and the apparatus 21 is constructed of a CAD part 22, a measuring part 24, etc. The CAD part 22 is so designed that it can sweep basic lines consisting of straight lines or curves by transferring parallel or rotating same, so as to generate a basic figure of the shape of a measured surface, and can combine subsequently a plurality of configurations of the measured surface appropriately to construct and generate a cubic figure equivalent to the shape of an object of measurement. Moreover, it is made possible to add the dimensions, angular tolerance, etc. of the object of measurement easily and organically, so as to generate a practical figure. Meanwhile, the measuring part 24, referring to the configuration equivalent to the shape of the object of measurement and tolerance information, generates measurement information including a relative transfer route of a measurer and the object of measurement and others on the basis of measuring conditions on the purpose of measurement evaluation and others set by an input unit 11.
