PURPOSE:To immediately identify a correct unmanned carrier that is specifically called out by providing a display part at the outside of the carrier to display the leading station number, the called station number and the operating state based on the operation control information. CONSTITUTION:A master station central controller 3 transmits the operation control information to an unmanned carrier 1 based on the input information received from a slave station calling terminal equipment 4. This transmission of information is carried out at a home station 2a by the optical signals of an optical communication device 5. Then the carrier 1 travels automatically on a guided route 2 based on the received control information. At the same time, a display part 1a is provided at the outside of the carrier 1 for display the leading station number, the called station number and the operating state based on the control information. These display contents are cleared away by the controller 3 when the carrier 1 returns to the station 2a after finishing its jobs. Thus it is possible to immediately identify a called carrier 1.
