PURPOSE:To integrally print out separate document files as one document by processing separate document files as if they are one composite document by the processing request of a batch processing data file. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the batch processing of document files separately by plural persons, a batch processing microcomputer corresponding to a batch processing data file name is designated (step 1 : S1). A document managing device checks the file type of a designated file, and if it is a document file (S2), the document data concerned is read to a paging work area from a document file storage part 19 (S9). If said file is a batch processing data file (S3), a batch processing document list described in its file is read in the batch processing work region of a RAM 13 (S4). Thereafter, the document data is read in the paging work region of other RAM 13 in order of a list (S9), and a display, etc., are executed.
