PURPOSE:To prevent any energy loss of a turbo-compressor by opening a blow- off control valve in such a manner that an air intake control valve is throttled by discharge pressure and when a point close to the surge line is detected by the signal of a differential pressure transmitter, an air intake valve is fixed by the control of a pressure indication adjusting meter so as to open a blow-off control valve. CONSTITUTION:Discharge pressure is detected by a pressure detector 4 and an air intake control valve CV1 is so throttled as to maintain a constant pressure. When the air intake control valve CV1 is throttled up to a point close to the surge line of performance curves a pressure indication adjusting meter PIC is actuated by the signal of a difference pressure transmitter 5 so that the air intake control valve CV1 is stopped for controlling a blow-off control valve CV2 to be opened. Then, any energy loss taking place at the time of changeover to blow-off can be reduced.
