Detackifying compns. for hand lotions contain liquid and waxy silicones in ratio of 9:1-1:3. Thus, dimethicone 10, stearoxy dimethicone 10, dimer acid 30, miristyl miristate 25, isopropyl palmitate 15, sorbitan stearate 12.5, benzyl alcohol 3, propylparaben 2, and methylparaben 3g are added to a dispersion (80≦̸C) of 40 propylene glycol and 3g carbomer 934 in 813.25g H2O. The mixt. is mixed with 3.25g NaOH, cooled to 50≦̸C, again mixed with 2.5g flavorant, and then cooled to 30≦̸C to give the compn.
