PURPOSE:To make a sorter miniaturizable as well as to make takeout of paper accurate and easy, by bending the paper carrying-in side of a bin upward with unidirectional rotation of a feed wheel being free of vertical motion, and widening the space with the lower stage bin. CONSTITUTION:When a feed wheel 3 is rotated counterclockwise by a drive shaft 31, by way of example, a trunnion 23 of a bin 2 is led into an underside slot 32, and a paper lead-in side piece part 2a of the bin 2 is bent upward with a fulcrum shaft 21 as the center, thus the space with a lower stage bin 2 is widened to some extent. At this time, the feed wheel 3 goes down together with a guide member 4 till it comes into contact with the trunnion 23 of the lower stage bin 2, whereby paper P out of an image former A is received on the lower stage bin 2. On the other hand, when the feed wheel 3 is rotated clockwise, it goes up in succession together with the guide member 4 shile releasing a bending state of each bin 2. Thus, miniaturization of a sorter is made possible and simultaneously a finger is easy to be inserted into space between these bins, so that the takeout of the paper is easily and accurately performable.
