PURPOSE:To facilitate delivery and to increase a delivery speed, by a method wherein, in a delivery device situated between a coil dolly and a three- dimensional warehouse, an elevatable receipt table and a conveying device are disposed in adjacent to an entry rack. CONSTITUTION:The rear end of the load-carrying platform of a coil dolly 3 is stopped in a state to approach a receiving table 7, and the level of the receiving table 7 is positioned flush with that of the load-carrying platform of the dolly 3. Thereafter, coils 4 are transferred to the receiving table 7, and are placed on a traverser 11. With a rotary table 9 being rotated, a rail 12 of the rotary table 9 is matched with a rail 18 of the receiving table 7, and the rail 18 is also matched with a rail 19 of an entry rack 6. The traverser 11 is traveled on the rails 12, 18, and 19 and the coils are delivered at the position, shown by a 2-dot chain line 11A, to a coiling receiving part 14 of a stacker crane. This constitution executes rapid and easy delivery.
