PURPOSE:To rapidly display an enlarged picture excellent in the quality of a screen on a blackboard surface by providing a reading means for reading holding data or the like and a means for enlarging and displaying read contents on a writing medium surface. CONSTITUTION:A picture on the writing medium 5 is read by a reading element 10, reduced and copied on a prescribed paper according to the operation of a recorder 6. When it is desired to enlarge and display the holding data or the like on the writing medium 5, the data is inserted to the recorder 6 from a compact document inserting port 7, and then, the picture of a character, a graphic or the like is read by a compact document reader in the recorder 6, the read picture information is fed to a dot impact print head 28 and enlarged and recorded on the writing medium 5 through a ink ribbon on which a water color ink is applied. Thereby, a conference or the like is speeded up and a high efficiency is attained.
