PURPOSE:To freely change and set the thickness dimension of a filter frame by dividing the filter frame, wherein the central part corresponding to a filter bed part is made into a hollow state, into a plurality of sheets and stretching a filter cloth between the unit filter frames so as to cover the central part of the hollow state. CONSTITUTION:Filter cloths 4, 4' are stretched between an intermediate frame 1 and respective outer frames 2, 2' so as to cover a central part 5 of respective unit filter frames 1, 2, 2' which is mad hollow. Respective unit filter frames 1, 2, 2' are formed nearly into a rectangle. Respective central parts 5 are formed nearly to be rectangle and hollow parts, and only circumferential edge parts are formed into a frame. Since the filter cloths are held by all parts of the circumferential edge parts, the hollow part of the center is made into a covered state. The hollow part of the intermediate frame 1 is formed smaller than the hollow parts of the outer frames 2, 2'. Thereby a clearance is formed between the filter cloths 4, 4', and the space wherein filtered filtrate flows is secured.
