PURPOSE:To extend application, and to facilitate mounting to an applying apparatus by inserting a cylindrical body, which has an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the through-hole of a housing for a laser diode and into which a rod-shaped lens is inserted, into the through hole and fixing the cylindrical body and setting up a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A housing 12 having a through-hole 12a where opposite to a light-emitting section 11a for a laser diode 11, a cylindrical body 24, which has an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the through-hole 12a and is inserted into the through-hole 12a under the state, in which a rod- shaped lens 23 is inserted, and fixed, and a diaphragm 25 arranged onto the optical path of beams being emitted from the light-emitting section 11a and passing through a lens 23 and at a position where the diaphragm 25 is fastened to the lens 23 are each provided. Consequently, beams parallel with the optical axis 23a of the lens can be projected even when there is the difference of individuals in the laser diode 11 while beams having a predetermined diameter can be projected even when there is the difference of individuals in the laser diode 11 and the lens 23 is moved. Accordingly, application is extended, and the title device is easily mounted.
