PURPOSE:To minimize the switching processing of a system whose data-way station is faulty by executing the switching processing of a system only when the data-way station having a fault receives/transmits a data. CONSTITUTION:Data transmitters 2a, 2b send a signal representing its own operation mode while adding it to the transmission data. Whether a data way station receiving the sent data is 4a or 4b is decided by a data receiver 1a receiving the signal in an operation, and in the case of the station 4a, the receiv er sends a reception display signal 10a and in the case of the station 4b, the reception display signal 10b is sent. When a fault takes place in the station 4a, a bit of fault information 8a is given to an AND circuit 9a. In this case, when the station 4a receives the data, the signal 10a is active, then the signal instructing the switching of the system is sent from an OR means 7. When the switching instruction of the system is given, a standby data receiver 1b is switched into the operating system.
