摘要 PURPOSE:To simultaneously harden plural places and to continue production even when an oscillator is out of order, by using plural sets of the laser oscillators, carrying out irradiation and hardening with the split laser beams from the oscillators, and allowing the laser beams to be switches to one another. CONSTITUTION:The laser hardening device for the inner surface of a hole is formed with plural sets of laser oscillators 2a and 2b, beam splitters 37a and 37b splitting the laser beam 6a and 6b emitted from the oscillators, and a working head 25. The working head 25 receives the split beam 6c-6f, deflected at right angles to the inner surface of the holes 7a-7d, and lifted up and down along the axes of the holes 7a-7d. Consequently, the deflected beam 6c-6f are rotated as the axes as the centers. Moreover, the laser beam can be switched to one another so that the beam 6a, etc., can be injected into the optical paths of the other beam 6b, etc.
