PURPOSE:To make a display easy to see and to prevent it from being misread by receiving a GPS signal and a self-support signal, processing map data and superposing it at a current display position, and selecting a display of a past movement path. CONSTITUTION:Signals from a satellite radio wave receiver 2 connected to an antenna 1, a traveling distance sensor 3, and an azimuth sensor 4 are inputted to a position detector 5 and a data processor 6 to which a map data storage device 7 and a past movement path data storage device 9 are connected computes the current position of a moving body. When an operator turns off a switch 10, a data fetch from the past movement path data storage device 8 is inhibited and the current position of the moving body and a relative map are displayed on a display device 9, one over the other. When the switch 10 is turned on, on the other hand, data from the storage device 8 is inputted and a past movement path is displayed in addition to the map and current position. |
