PURPOSE:To facilitate working and to prevent the defect of material such as cracks, etc., from occurrence by covering the whole circumference or a part of the circumference expected to be abutted on a die of FRM with a matrix metal of the FRM. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of plastic working the FRM, the FRM converted with the matrix metal is used at the part where the die is expected to about and the 2nd working is performed. As a result, because the reinforcing fiber is not brought directly into contact with the working die and its outer circumference has more ductility than the FRM of its own, it is worked easily and the defects such as cracks, etc., are suppressed. Therefore, excellent work material is obtained.
