METHOD FOR LOCATING EQUIPMENT CAUSING FAULT IN ABNORMITY OF COMMUNICATION LINE

PURPOSE:To quickly and stably locate and specify an equipment in fault by connecting each electronic equipment to a communication line via a corresponding contact respectively and turning off the contacts sequentially as to all combinations when the communication is faulty. CONSTITUTION:Electronic equipment 1-4 are connected respectively to a communication line 7 via contacts 10-40 respectively and the communication is executed between two optional lines. The fault of the communication line is detected by a monitor 9 connected to the communication line 7 and it is displayed. IN observing the fault display, the contacts 10-40 are subjected to on/off operation for all combinations so as to locate a faulty equipment by the operation above through the check of remaining faulty or release of the fault into normal restoration.
