Method for digital transmission of radio signals by means of broadband channels in which received HF radio signals (US1, US2, ...) are converted from the intermediate frequency position into audio baseband signals (BS11, BS12, ...), all the audio baseband signals (BS11, BS12, ...) which have been converted into the baseband position are sampled in an enclosed fashion and converted into a digital signal (DS1) which is transmitted and reconverted on the receive side into analog HF radio signals. <IMAGE>
