To launder and chemically clean woollen garments, where the machine drum rotates forwards and backwards within a given cycle time, the washing fluid ratio is held between 1:3 and 1:15. The drum moves in a single forward rotation by an angle of 90-320 deg. followed by a single reverse rotation of the same angle, as the washing sequence.
