PURPOSE:To prevent high-frequency energies from leaking outward by positioning at least one turn of coil-shaped heater wires in the thick part of a heating chamber wall surface and setting the length of an oblique side of the coil of the heater wire at a value sufficiently shorter than the working length. CONSTITUTION:In a heating chamber 1, high-frequency energies of a waveform lambdaare sealed to subject a food to dielectric heating, and the food is externally heated by the heater wires 3 of a grill heater 5. Support tubes 4 support the heater wires 3, and at least one turn of the coil-shaped heater wires 3 is positioned in the thick part T of a heater chamber wall surface 2. That is, the coil of the heater wire 3 is constituted as an oblique side R. The base P of a right triangle, when an angle formed by the side R and the base P is represented by H, is set at T>P, and further R<<lambda, Hnot equal to 0 deg. and Hnot equal to 180 deg.. Thus, the heating chamber wall surface 2 and the heater wire 3 do not constitute a coaxial transmission line and show no radiation characteristic in the outside direction of the heating chamber.
