PURPOSE:To optimize the discharge of harmful components, by controlling water injection to a combustion chamber on the basis of a relationship between the air-fuel ratio in the primary combustion region inside the combustion chamber and respective intake and exhaust temperatures, and that between NOX discharge and the air-fuel ratio in the primary combustion region. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of respective informations detected by an intake and an exhaust temperature sensors 1, 2 respectively, a water injection signal 5 is outputted from a control part 3, so that a water injection mechanism 4 is driven, thereby water 8 is injected into the primary combustion region 7 of a combustion chamber 6 in a gas turbine engine. In this case, in a control part 3, microcomputer and the like are used, and further CPU 32, ROM 33, RAM 34 and the like are provided. And by using respective detected intake and exhaust temperatures and the data of ROM 33, the discharge of NOX is calculated from the air-fuel ratio in the primary combustion region 7. Thereafter, the calculated value is compared with a predetermined reference value, and, when the calculated value is greater than the reference value, the water injection signal 5 is outputted.
