PURPOSE:To obtain a titanium alloy member having sufficient ductility and excellent erosion resistance, by heating up a Ti alloy in which the contents of Mo, V, Cr, Fe and Nb are respectively regulated to a specific temp. range and controlling the cooling of the alloy. CONSTITUTION:The Ti alloy having the compsns. of Mo, V, Cr and Nb in which the contents by wt.% satisfy the conditions of inequality in figure is subjected to the heating-up treatment to the temp. above [the beta transformation point - 150 deg.C]. Said alloy is then cooled at the cooling ratio of >=5 deg.C/min. The heating-up treatment can be furthermore executed in the form forging. The titanium alloy member having the excellent erosion resistance for using it without applying heat hysteresis in the temp. range of >=200 deg.C can be thereby obtd. The satisfying capacity of the alloy is exhibited when said alloy is applied to a turbine blade, etc.
