PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive composition capable of firmly bonding two articles comprising polymer moldings to each other without using a primer, by mixing a halogenated polyolefin with a specified acrylic polyurethane. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive composition comprising a mixture of 100pts.wt. halogenated polyolefin (A) (e.g., chlorinated polypropylene) and 1-250pts.wt. acrylic polyurethane (B) consisting of a polyurethane having a hydroxyl group at the terminal and at least one acrylic polymer selected from a polyacrylic acid or its derivative and a polymethacrylic acid or its derivative (e.g., an acrylic polyurethane obtained by polymerizing an acrylic monomer in the presence of a polyurethane having a hydroloxyl group at the terminal). This composition is applied to a polymer molding or other article, and the solvent is vaporized to give an adhesive layer exhibiting pressure-sensitive adhesiveness. By pressing an adherend against the adhesive layer, the two bodies can be bonded to each other without application of a primer.
