PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the aimed treating value by adjusting nozzle angle and distance of an injecting nozzle to molten iron flow surface in accordance with variation of molten iron tapping speed and molten iron component and adjusting an immersion depth of pretreating agent. CONSTITUTION:At the time of pretreatment removing impurities of S, Si, P, etc., in the molten iron, the nozzle angle and the distance of the injecting nozzle to the continuous flow surface of the molten iron in accordance with the variation of molten iron tapping speed and the molten iron component. By this method, the immersion depth of the pretreating agent into the continuous flow of the molten metal is controlled so as to obtain the aimed treating value. And, even if the content of impurities in the molten iron is changed, always the aimed treating value can be obtd.
