PURPOSE:To apply a fuel control equipment to each engine commonly, by changing an increase amount correcting rate between an engine with an automatic transmission and that with a manual transmission, in case of increasing a fuel supply amount during acceleration of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A fuel control equipment is provided with a fuel supply amount setting means A which can set up a fuel supply amount for an engine, and an acceleration detecting means B which can detect an acceleration status of the engine, and when the acceleration status is detected, it corrects the increase of the fuel supply amount. In this case, a transmission judging means C is provided in order to judge whether the transmission attached to the engine is a manual type or an automatic type. A judged result thereat is outputted to a supply amount correcting means D, and when it is judged that the transmission is either the manual type or the automatic type, the increase correction of the fuel supply amount is performed with the first or the second increase amount rate (the second increase amount rate > the first increase amount rate). Then, a fuel supplying means E is controlled according to the fuel supply amount after the correction.
