PURPOSE:To enable smooth transfer of a glass gob and to prevent generation of product defects, by using a delivery such as scoop to guide a molten glass gob to a mold, constituting a transfer face of the delivery with a porous material having hollow pores in skeleton and blasting pressurized fluid to the transfer face through the hollow pores. CONSTITUTION:A molten glass gob is transferred to a mold through a glass forming delivery constructed of a scoop 18, etc., formed in the form of groove or cylinder, etc. In the above process, at least the molten glass gob transfer face 26 of the scoop 18, etc., is constructed of a porous material 28 which is a ceramic structure material having hollow skeleton forming a continuous skeleton structure, containing hollow pores and integrated with a matrix material introduced into the gaps in the skeleton and the hollow pores are opened to the transfer face 26. A flow channel to supply a pressurized fluid (e.g. air) to the hollow pores is provided and a pressurized fluid is blasted through the hollow pores to the transfer face.
