PURPOSE:To surely confirm the reception of a receiver by a transmitter, by generating a completion report automatically when a facsimile equipment(FAX) on a reception side receives and outputs a confidential original, and sending it to the FAX on a transmission side. CONSTITUTION:When an output command means 28 is started up in the FAX on the reception side, a readout control part 23 is driven by controlling a gate means 27. The control part 23 takes out picture information corresponding to an identification signal from the FAX on the transmission side from a storage means 22, and inputs it to an image assembling part 24. The image assembling part 24 generates a picture plane from the picture information, and prints and outputs the original by driving a recording means 25. Simultaneously, the output command means 28 controls the gate means 27, and drives a managing record editing means 26. The editing means 26 reads the content of a managing recording part 21, and generates the completion report, and furthermore, sends the completion report to the FAX on the transmission side by operating the transmission control part 11 of its own station. Therefore, it is possible to easily recognize whether or not the original is taken out at the reception side by the transmission side.
