PURPOSE:To obtain an additive for resin, having excellent dispersibility in resin and improved heat-resistance, corrosion resistance, etc., by treating a hydrolyzed alkoxide with an organic ammonium salt, thereby imparting oil- resistance to the hydrolyzate. CONSTITUTION:An organic ammonium salt of formula R4N<+>X<-> (e.g. tetraalkylammonium halide) is added to a hydrolyzed alkoxide having a structure expressed by formula HO-(MOx)-OH [M is element of alkoxide].
