PRODUCTION OF EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To improve flexibility of a molded product obtained from a resin composition, by treating the surface of filler particles with an epoxy based silane coupling agent and then treating the surface with a liquid bifunctional phenolic compound for use. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition obtained by treating the surface of filler particles in an epoxy resin composition with (A) an epoxy based silane coupling agent (e.g. compound expressed by formula I or II) and then treating the surface with (B) a liquid bifunctional phenolic compound (e.g. hinokiresinol or sugiresinol). Furthermore, the preferred amounts of the components based on the filler are 0.1-5wt.% component (A) and 0.1-10wt.% component (B).
