PURPOSE:To suppress the tendency of power under-steer, by supporting a differential gear to a suspension supporting member on the front side of a rear wheel driving shaft, supporting the suspension supporting member through front and rear elastic members to a vehicle body, and setting a given mounting distance and a modulus of elasticity of the front elastic member to be smaller than those of the rear elastic member. CONSTITUTION:A differential gear 2 for transmitting power to a driving shaft 4 of a rear wheel 3 is supported to a cross member 6 on the front side of the driving shaft 4. Shafts 11 and 12 are mounted to the cross member 6, and two lateral links 13 and 14 are pivotably connected at their inner ends to each of the shafts 11 and 12. The outer ends of the lateral links 13 and 14 are pivotably connected to a wheel supporting member 5. The cross member 6 is mounted at its opposite end portions through front and rear damper mechanisms 15 and 16 to a vehicle body. Let k1 and k2 denote the moduli of elasticity of elastic members mounted in the front and rear damper mechanisms 15 and 16, respectively, and let A and B denote the distances from a straight line l to mount positions of the front and rear damper mechanisms 15 and 16, respectively.
