PURPOSE:To reduce cost, by a method wherein the outer diameter of the foremost end of a stator core in the inserting direction of the stator is formed so as to have a size capable of being inserted into a part having the minimum inner diameter to insert it into a casing. CONSTITUTION:A casing 10 is provided with an inner peripheral surface 11, on which a draft remains, a stator core 13, an L-shape fitting 14 and the like. The L-shaped fitting 14 is provided with a side wall having a thickness capable of being forced into a clearance, formed at a part near the inlet ends of the draft on the inner peripheral surface 11 of the casing 11 and the outer peripheral surface 15 of the stator core 13, while the section of the fitting 14 is formed so as to be L-shape. Flat cut surfaces 16 on both sides of the stator core 13 are equipped with stoppers 11' to prevent the core 13 from moving into the rotating direction thereof. According to this constitution, the L-shaped fitting 14, used for mounting and fixing, is provided with a simple configuration, therefore, it may be manufactured from the sheet material of an elastic material, such as spring steel or the like, whereby the productivity of the stator may be improved.
