PURPOSE:To make an air diffusion sheet unnecessary, to eliminate a liquid leakage from air feeding holes resulting from the air diffusion sheet, and to obtain a good cell performance, by using a porous fluorine resin membrane with an uneven surface as a water-repelling membrane. CONSTITUTION:At the inner bottom of a cylindrical positive electrode case 1 with bottom, which furnishes air feeding holes 2 at the bottom, a porous fluorine resin membrane 4 with an uneven surface 3 is furnished. By using the porous fluorine resin membrane 4 with the uneven surface 3 as a water- repelling membrane, an air diffusion sheet, which is difficult to be fixed at the bottom of the positive electrode case 1, can be omitted, and not only a liquid leakage from the air holes 2 resulting from the air diffusion sheet can be eliminated, but also the materials can be reduced. Moreover, a cell to which hydrogen is fed sufficiently, and which has a stable discharge maintaining voltage can be obtained. |
