PURPOSE:To certainly monitor the uranium state in an uranium separation cell, by utilizing the concn. data of uranium 235 obtained from the output of the light detector on an incident laser beam side and that of the light detector on a transmitted light side. CONSTITUTION:The intensity I0 of the laser beam incident to an uranium separation cell 11 is detected by a light detector 23 and the intensity I of the transmitted laser beam passing through uranium vapor 15 is detected by a separate light detector 23' and the concn. data, of uranium 235 is obtained using the operation value obtained by operation I0/I by a divider circuit 26 and a preliminarily obtainable element. As a result, it becomes unnecessary to artificially monitor the residual amount of uranium in the uranium separation cell 11 from a viewing window and the load of an operator can be reduced.
