PURPOSE:To reduce blow holes by inserting an ear part of electrode group into a casting mold where vibration is added to the molten part during a first half solidification process of molten lead. CONSTITUTION:Inserting an ear part of electrode group 1 into a casting mold 2, vibration is added to the ear part of electrode group 1 or the mold 2. It induces elimination of bubbles, which are formed by decomposed vaporization of a solvent coated on the ear part of electrode group 1, and blow holes 5 are forcibly eliminated from the interior of a strap 4 accordingly. By the arrangement, the ear part of electrode group 1, the strap 4 and electrode lead alloy are in a good molten bonding state, and corrosion and breakdown of the strap 4 and the electrode due to intrusion of the electrolyte solution into the interior of the strap 4 are avoided. |
