PURPOSE:To quickly transmit and receive data between computers by writing data in a prescribed location of a shared memory by a first computer to interrupt a second computer and reading out data from the memory by the second computer. CONSTITUTION:A shared memory 13 is shared between first and second computers 11 and 12, and data is transmitted and received between computers 11 and 12 through the memory 13. The computer 11 interrupts the computer 12 by a hardware device 14 by data write on the prescribed location of the memory 13 to inform the computer 12 of data write to the memory 13 for the purpose of transmitting data from the computer 11 to the computer 12. Then, data written on the prescribed location of the memory 13 is read out by the computer 12. Thus, data is transmitted and received between computers at a high speed. |
