PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction by turning on a transistor (TR) of emitter follower operation when a waveform is distorted to the input terminal of the titled circuit connected to a transmission line, and causing a current flow from the input terminal to the transmission line thereby shaping the waveform. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that a signal with a lower potential than a ground potential caused by the distortion in the waveform enters from an input terminal 1, then a TR 5 is turned on and a current flows from the emitter till the input terminal 1 reaches nearly the same potential as the ground potential. Thus, the energy causing distorted waveform is absorbed at the moment, and the waveform is shaped. Thus, an excellent waveform shaping characteristic is obtained to prevent malfunction of a logic circuit.
