PURPOSE:To prepare the titled alloy which withstands the use for long hours at a high temp. by incorporating specific ratios of C, Si, Mn, Ni, Cr, Ti, Al, Nb and B into Fe. CONSTITUTION:The alloy contg., by weight, 0.02-0.12% C, <=0.2% Si, <=2.0% Mn, 28-40% Ni, 15-30% Cr, 0.05-0.45% Ti, 0.05-0.45% Al, 0.005-0.20% Nb, 0.0008-0.01% B and the balance consisting of Fe with inevitable impurities is prepd. In this way, the austenitic heat resistant alloy which withstands the use for long hours at a high temp. is obtd. The alloy is useful for the reaction tube, piping, etc., of a chemical plant, etc.
