PURPOSE:To produce a three-dimensional fine ornamental sheet made of an electroformed shell by forming recess corresponding to the details of patterns in the surface of a male die obtd. by electroforming on an original and by producing a matrix by electroforming on the male die. CONSTITUTION:An original 12 is produced by denting a thin copper sheet 10 so as to form recesses 11 corresponding to the projections 5 of flower and bird patterns 3, 4. A male die 13 is formed by electroforming on the original 12 and recess 15 corresponding to the details of the patterns 3, 4 are cut in the surfaces of the projections 14 of the die 13 with a cutting tool. A female die 17 is formed by electroforming on the die 13, the flat part 18 of the die 17 corresponding to the ground of an ornamental sheet 1 is rough-cut and blanking guides 19 for sheet working are cut. A male die 20 is formed again by electroforming on the die 17 and the projections 21 of the die 20 are finish- worked to produce a matrix 22. An electroformed shell is obtd. by electroforming on the matrix 22, the obtd. shell is blanked and then rounded and coated or color-plated. A filler is filled into recesses 6 on the rear sides of the projections 5 and solidified to form an ornamental sheet 1.
