PURPOSE:To improve durability of a mold by forming coating layer composing of tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene coplymer (FEP) as a first layer and poltetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as a second layer. CONSTITUTION:Grease is removed from surface of a lattice body casting mold for plate of lead battery by trichrene, and after heating, the FEP dispersion solution of an organic solvent is sprayed. This is baked by a baking furnace and this operation is repeated several times. Next, the water-PTFE dispersion solution is sprayed and this is baked in the baking furnace and this operation is repeated several times. By using this mold, antimony contained lead alloy is cast. By this method, the lattice body for lead battery having extremely excellent releasability and improving quality and productivity is obtd.
